Florida Personal Injury News: Recent Florida Second District Court of Appeal Ruling  

Florida 2nd District Court of Appeal just issued a ruling permitting a minor child to testify as a material witness in his mother's car accident case. The plaintiff's lawyer was trying to argue that because of the child's age and his lack of maturity he shouldn't be required to testify. They also argued, among other things, that minors are more susceptible to intermediation by defense lawyers during depositions. However, the 2nd DCA didn't agree.
