Yellowstone Regional Airport Passengers Taking Off

Yellowstone Regional Airport announced a record 4,569 passengers from Cody in September. Airport Manager Bob Hooper says passenger numbers were up an amazing 48.6% during the month, adding to an impressive string of increases in number of passengers in eight of the last nine months.

Hooper says Yellowstone Regional Airport is on track for another record year, with passenger traffic already up 25.3% compared to last year with the holiday season still to come.

YRA attributes the increase in passenger traffic to additional summer flights on a SkyWest/Delta Connection to the Delta Airlines hub in Salt Lake City and an increase from one to two daily flights on United Airlines to their hub in Chicago.

The Airport continues to offer complimentary free parking, free wi-fi and a restaurant for customers. Travelers continue to enjoy the short lines and efficient security screening process offered at Yellowstone Regional Airport. YRA continues to be one of the busiest airports in Wyoming for its size and appreciates the support of Cody, Powell and surrounding communities.
