Fremont Therapy Group in Rawlins is proud to announce the addition of three new practitioners!
Skyler Jorgensen – PT, DPT
Skyler Jorgensen is a physical therapist who joins Fremont Therapy Group with a passion for helping people enhance their health through movement.
“My passion for helping people began years ago when I job shadowed in a physical therapy clinic during high school--from that experience, I began pursuing the goal of physical therapy as a career,” notes Skyler.
Skyler attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy. Prior to DPT school, he studied at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.
Skyler, his wife, and young daughter are proud to now call Rawlins home. They enjoy camping, fishing, and golfing, as well as fixing up their new home.
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Skyler uses evidence based techniques to help all types of patients reach their mobility goals. He has found special interest in manual therapy, using hands on interventions that reduce patient symptoms and impairments. Due to his lifelong involvement in athletics, Skyler also thoroughly enjoys working with athletes and plans to earn advanced certifications in Sports, Orthopedic, and Manual Therapies.
Elisa Detling – Physical Therapist Assistant
Elisa Detling is a highly trained Physical Therapist Assistant and is skilled at using a variety of treatment interventions to help patients recover.
Elisa earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Black Hills State University and completed her Physical Therapy Assistant degree at Laramie County Community College. Elisa is a Nebraska native, and just recently relocated to Rawlins after practicing for several years in South Dakota.
When not in clinic, Elisa has passion for outdoor activities such as hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and extreme obstacle course running events. You will also find her out supporting the Rawlins football team--the head coach and the team are very important to her. Go Outlaws!
She is certified in Smart Tools IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), which she uses to treat a variety of injuries limited by acute and chronic pain. Elisa also has advanced training in kinesiology taping, which can be used on multiple areas of the body to decrease swelling, inhibit overused muscles, activate weak muscles, support and correctly position muscles and/or joints, and cueing for posture, position, and realignment.
“I enjoy motivating my patients to become physically stronger and pain free so they are able to return to the things they love doing. Each patient’s success and being able to achieve things they never thought physically possible is why I love being a physical therapist assistant.” explains Elisa.
Morgan Espino – Physical Therapist Assistant
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, Morgan Espino works alongside our Physical Therapists to treat various types of orthopedic cases utilizing therapeutic exercise and manual therapies.
A Texas transplant, Morgan is embracing the Wyoming way of life and enjoys camping in our vast landscapes. She also enjoys time traveling to visit family, baking, and is a movie buff.
“I feel honored to be a part of a patient’s journey toward higher function and healing.” notes Morgan. “I also adore working with the pediatric population and look forward to providing physical therapy services for the children of our Rawlins school district.”
Morgan earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a health minor from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She then pursued her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from Lonestar College in Montgomery, TX.
You can count on Morgan to provide quality one-on-one physical therapy care to patients of all ages.
