Fremont Symphony Orchestra annual free winter afternoon concert fundraiser January 21

Fremont Symphony Orchestra's concert, "Suite Romance" starts Saturday, November 5th

(Lander, Wyo.) – The Fremont Symphony Orchestra (FSO) has announced its annual free winter afternoon concert January 21, 2017.

The Mid-Winter Musicale and Mingle FSO Fund Raiser features solo and instrumental ensemble performances by FSO members during the 3:00 p.m. concert at Lander’s Covenant Presbyterian Church, 875 Fremont.

FSO Conductor Rebecca Murdock said participating orchestra members include the FSO string section, violinist Emilee Sheridan, cellist Fred Petersen, the Central Wyoming Brass Quintet, principal FSO clarinetist Dan Foster and Wyoming Symphony Young Artist finalist violinist Camille Barnes.

Murdock extended an invitation for everyone to come and enjoy what she described as “A wonderful winter afternoon full of tantalizing melodies and tasty morsels.”

This is the one and only fundraiser for the orchestra throughout during the year. While admission is free, donations are greatly appreciated and the orchestra will accept them at the door.
