Hattie Larlham Launches Vehicle Donation Program

Hattie Larlham has a new way for people to support its mission – the Hattie Larlham Vehicle Donation Program. Donors can drive the creation of opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ohio by donating a used car, van, truck, boat or recreational vehicle to Hattie Larlham.

Hattie Larlham Director of Development Catherine Schwartz said the organization realizes the emotional connection many people have to their used vehicles, as well as the desire they have to see those vehicles go to a good cause. “We all have memories associated with our vehicles that hold sentimental value,” she said. “When you no longer need a vehicle, it feels good to know its next chapter will be one of creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”

Vehicles donated to Hattie Larlham will be auctioned. The funds raised will stay local to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ohio.

All vehicle donations are tax deductible. Interested donors can call 1-844-3HATTIE or visit www.hattielarlham.org to initiate the donation process.
