Chuck Amadio went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 19, 2016. He was 74 years old at the time of his death. He was loved, respected, and will be missed by his family, friends, and former students.
Chuck was born to Charles and Hazel Amadio on April 27, 1942, in Casper, WY. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1960, earned an Associate’s Degree from Casper College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Wyoming. He was an elementary teacher for 34 years in Lander, retiring in 1999, a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, and served six years in the Wyoming National Guard.
Chuck prided himself in taking care of his family. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and spending time in the Red Dessert looking for arrowheads. In general, he enjoyed spending time in Wyoming’s great outdoors with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, Barbara, his wife of 52 years; son, Craig; daughter, Megan; siblings, Dennis (Nicollette), LouAnn (Bart) Miller, Paul (Tracy); brother-in-law, Neal (Mary) Johnson; and seven nieces and nephews.
