Yaktrax Amplifies Marketing with New Website and “Stand Up to Winter” Campaign

Ahead of the 2017/18 winter season, Yaktrax aims to better serve customers and increase brand awareness

DURHAM, N.C. (November 2, 2017) Yaktrax, the active outdoor brand synonymous with snow and ice traction, brings extra muscle to its winter 2017/18 consumer efforts with the introduction of the all new website and an updated marketing campaign.

These efforts underscore a commitment to advancing the Yaktrax brand by helping to educate the consumer on how to maximize winter fun and safety while simplifying the process of shopping and buying the right traction device for any activity.

“We’re very excited to employ streamlined tools that bring our message more directly to current and potential consumers, allowing them to intelligently shop and buy the products that best complement their needs and lifestyle,” said Greg Stryker, Director of Marketing for Yaktrax. “We are proud of our efforts and we look forward to seeing the results this winter.”

The new website will offer customers the perfect platform for researching and identifying the product they need. A new “Compare” feature simplifies the process while a “Find it Locally” link will instantly provide a list of nearby brick-and-mortar retailers. The “News and Blog” section will feature helpful winter tips along with contributions from Yaktrax’ Cold Conquerors ambassadors on the benefits of traction throughout the season.
