The RAK WisCamunit consists of a Sub-Camera board, Sub-SD&USB board, one micro USB cable, five jumper caps, a 2.4G antenna, a speaker and four Dupont lines. This innovative product can transmit video through Wi-Fi to a variety of multi-platform apps; all software source code for Android, iOS, Windows PC apps, hardware PCB files and firmware can be found on Github. The board features impressive specifications including a robust Nuvoton N32905R3DN CPU,256Mbit internal DDR2,128 Mbit external flash memory, 648x488 pixel camera lens and 16-bit stereo DAC to name a few. WisCam is integrated with NABTO P2P cloud server that enables playing of video and two way audio anywhere that has access to the internet. It allows users to scale videos(up to x1 ~ x8), overlap videos and crop videos via RAW DATA etc. Accessories include a Sub-Camera that is used to collect image sensors and play them in the app via Wi-Fi, a Sub-SD&USB for USB storage or UVC function and others.
