PUBLICITY OVERVIEW FOR REV. STEF. & JUBILATION'S 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION CONCERT @ NJPAC SUNDAY, 22 JUNE 2019
INQUE PUBLIC RELATIONS© would like to aid the critically acclaimed JUBILATION CHOIR and their award-winning artistic director the REV. DR. STEFANIE R. MINATEE in the development of a targeted publicity campaign designed to promote visibility and to maximize publicity opportunities for their upcoming 20th anniversary concert celebration on Sunday, June 22nd, 2019 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ.
We will also assist JUBILATION | REV. MINATEE in the development /graphic design of professional press kit materials that will be vitally necessary in the promotion of this upcoming performance.
The press kit should include the following (if funds are available):
1. Multiple press releases
o Performance announcement teaser – including info on the new radio single
o Rev. Minatee her faith journey/walk, accomplishments, health challenges and recovery)
o Final concert release includes news on concert’s special guests, upcoming news and any other exciting tidbits
2. Updating / tweaking the current online press kit
3. Designing a quote sheet (should include quotes from VIPs, media, etc.)
4. Lyric video of new single
5. E-card – will feature a link to the single and a blurb on the upcoming concert
6. Photo shoots (as needed)
**All expenditure costs for publicity and promotional items will be submitted and discussed in advance with REV. MINATEE for her approval.
More specifically our methods hopefully should result in building the following: to establish and grow a solid media foundation for JUBILATION | REV. MINATEE with the following:
Print – Television – Radio – Online music/entertainment outlets - (where there is interest)
o Tri-state area press (New Jersey – New York – Connecticut)
o Gospel and Black music press
o African American lifestyle press
o Entertainment press (sites which cover gospel music/artists)
ESTIMATED TIME SCHEDULE
Promotional timeline: (Four – six months +
TENTATIVE START DATE: JANUARY 2, 2019.
All press campaigns run for a minimum of at four months and more. This applies to the setup of a grassroots promotional campaign that will be needed to pitch the long lead press / magazines, national radio and television shows ---- gospel, black music, African American lifestyle outlets. Please know that it takes time to get to the appropriate writer, journalist and outlet to pitch them the story and then follow up for their responses – it is not a quick and easy process.
**Please understand that there are no guarantees that any outlet or journalist will agree to coverage or an interview and we will have to grind out and chase each opportunity. A little hard work can go a long way!**
COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES
Our normal publicity retainers for small non-profits/companies and independent artists range from $1,800 per month and up plus monthly expenditures – but we are flexible and would like to work with you. So, we are willing to negotiate within reason. The first month’s retainer plus first month’s expenditures with our signed publicity agreement must be paid and received in advance prior to the commencement of employment.
PROMOTIONAL BUDGET EXPENDITURES (TENTATIVE)
o Writer (press releases) – I only use my own writer for all of my written materials - press releases, biographies, etc.,
o Graphic designer – professionally designs the layout for the press release – the quote sheet and the ecard.
o Wire service distribution – servicing our various press releases on the national wire services which will reach well over 30,000+ journalists, bloggers and media outlets depending on the servicing company.
o Social media promotions (various websites)
o Traveling costs: gas, tolls, parking, meals, etc.
