Sunday, Bloody Sunday: Jax Fish House amplifies brunch with new bloody mary, mimosa and Sunday cocktail options

Lead Bartender Kenny Cohrs adds more than 13 new drinks to Sunday brunch menu

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 17, 2016) – Jax Fish House and Oyster Bar is putting a greater focus on imbibing during its Sunday brunch as Lead Bartender Kenny Cohrs has created new bloody mary, mimosa and cocktail options to debut on Sunday, Nov. 20. Jax serves its brunch every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The bloody mary options will include four different spirits that guests can select from, as well as three levels of spiciness. All bloody mary variations will be available bottomless for $16.

The Commodore will be Jax’s all-decked-out bloody mary, garnished with peel-and-shrimp, crab legs, Jax’s proprietary Emersum oyster, caviar, olive and lemon wedge – served with a fork. A featured monthly bloody mary will also be on the menu. The November feature is The Bloody O’Toole, any house standard bloody mary with Guinness beer and bacon.

Four mimosa variations will also make their debut on November 20, including the Livin’ the Mimosa, made with Miller High Life beer, cranberry and a pineapple shrub. Select variations of mimosas will also be available bottomless for $16.

The new brunch drinks will be rounded out with monthly cocktails like the Sunday Sazerac, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and Jax Pimm’s Cup, all featured in November.
