Blue Moose brings light to the darkness of cancer with its fall fundraising campaign; gives guests the chance to win a $500 gift card

Paper lanterns sold at the Manhattan restaurant between Oct. 15-28 will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s as part of its Light The Night campaign

MANHATTAN, Kan. (Oct. 4, 2018) – Blue Moose, through its ownership’s Hopps Helps charitable giving arm, is raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Mid-America Chapter as part of the nonprofit’s Light The Night campaign that works to bring light to the darkness of cancer. A portion of sales from the paper lanterns will also be allocated to the Hopps Help general fund that supports local causes throughout the year. From Oct. 15-28, guests at Blue Moose, located at 100 Manhattan Town Center, can purchase paper lanterns for $1 each and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Mid-America Chapter, its mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

 

Of the guests who purchase paper lanterns at any of KC Hopps’ restaurants between Oct. 15-28, one random winner will be announced in November for a $500 KC Hopps gift card.

 

The Hopps Help spring campaign that sold $1 paper baseballs, raised $13,500 that was spread out across three organizations – Ainsley Takes On PKU Support & Research, Folds of Honor and Hopps Helps.
