KC Hopps Executive Chef Ryan Sneed unveils his Oktoberfest menu at 5 metro restaurants

Blue Moose and Barley’s Kitchen + Tap will each feature the special menu for 12 days only

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (Sept. 5, 2019) – Five of KC Hopps’ metro restaurants will debut an Oktoberfest menu on Wednesday, Sept. 25 that will run for 12 days only, ending on Sunday, Oct. 6. The special menu, created by KC Hopps Executive Chef Ryan Sneed, will feature four German-themed dishes:

 

  • Pork Wiener Schnitzel – tender 4-ounce pork cutlet pounded flat, lightly pan fried and topped with a wholegrain mustard cream sauce. Served with lemon-chive spaetzle and broccoli. $14
  • Beef Stroganoff – tender pieces of steak simmered in a rich beef and mushroom sauce. Served over egg noodles and topped with sour cream and green onions. $12
  • Beef Sauerbraten – thick slices of marinated beef, roasted until tender and served with lemon-chive spaetzle, braised red cabbage and broccoli. $13
  • (Not-So-German) German Chocolate Cakea traditional triple-layer German chocolate cake topped with coconut-pecan frosting. $5
