Up and coming country music star Aaron Watson will be performing in South Point’s Showroom during National Finals Rodeo and bringing original country hits to the stage. Bull rider turned country music star, Cody Johnson will entertain guests all night in the South Point Showroom with his classic country voice and impressive guitar playing. The Whiskey Fire Band

Taking over the South Point's Grandview Lounge every night during the National Finals Rodeo is The Whiskey Fire, a newly formed group with a country rock sound. Lead vocalist Vanessa LeGrand and the rest of the band are all classically trained, music business veterans who've found their way to Las Vegas. Whiskey Fire's classic country sound is sure to entertain guests all night long.

Dennis DeYoung will take over the South Point Grand Ballroom to welcome the New Year in style with special guest The Alley Cats. As the founding member of the rock group Styx, DeYoung has entertained fans for over five decades and will bring his top hits to life for the New Year’s celebration, including “Lady,” “Come Sail Away,” “Best of Times,” “Mr. Roboto,” “Show Me The Way,” “Babe” and more. The sweet doo wop sounds of The Alley Cats will get the party started from 8 to 10:40 p.m. Tickets for DENNIS DEYOUNG: THE MUSIC OF STYX include a four-course dinner, open bar, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.

New Year’s at Noon: The Alley Cats

The Alley Cats return to the South Point Showroom for “New Year’s at Noon” with the group’s signature doo wop sound. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the ‘50s iconic music and signature songs such as “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Come Go with Me” and “Goodnight Sweetheart.” Tickets include party favors and a champagne toast.

Wes Winters with Vanessa LeGrand

Free and open to the public.

Wes Winters and Vanessa LeGrand will stun crowds with their exceptional vocal, stage and piano abilities in the Grandview Lounge. LeGrand and Winters’ excellent talents will have crowds on their feet and celebrating the best of 2016 with his top hits such as “That Old Black Magic,” “Hold Me, Thrill Me” and “Going Out Of My Head.”

Rockin’ M Town with Gregg Austin

South Point Showroom will host Gregg Austin and his Rockin’ M Town beats to ring in the New Year. Guests will enjoy the everlasting sounds that forever altered the world of music as they dance 2016 away. Highlights include “I’ll Be Around,” “Just My Imagination” and “My Girl.” Tickets include two drinks, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.

‘80s Night with The SPAZMATICS

The SPAZMATICS will take over South Point Hotel’s Exhibit Hall on New Year’s Eve for the best ‘80s dance party in Las Vegas to welcome 2016. Guests will be wowed by The SPAZMATICS’ world class musicianship, tight choreography and contagious energy as they dance the night away to the top hits from the ‘80s. Tickets include an open bar, party favors, hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight.

Guests will dance the night away in the South Point Showroom to the musical stylings of Chubby Checker’s limbo rock music. Known for popularizing the “twist dance” style, Checker’s R&B hit “The Twist” topped Billboard’s Hot 100 most popular singles of all time list in 2008.

Tony Orlando's Christmas Show

Legendary performer Tony Orlando will have guests in the holiday spirit with his Christmas show coming to the South Point Showroom. Tony will be singing iconic Christmas songs and his own personal hits that will entertain guests of all ages.

In January, the Atlantic City Boys take over the South Point Showroom with their old school sounds that are sure to have guests dancing and singing along all night. A night with this four person band combines Broadway and classic hits with songs by the Four Seasons, Bee Gees, 60s rock ‘n’ roll, Rat Pack, Beach Boys, Beatles and more.

Saturday Night Live veteran and long-time, nationally acclaimed standup comedian Jay Mohr comes to the South Point showroom January 2017. Mohr fits all of the experiences he collected through the years acting, writing books and touring the world with his comedy shows to entertain guests all night long. This show contains mature content and is only for guests age 18 and older.

Capitol Steps – Just Added

The Capitol Steps is a traveling, theatrical performing group like no other with an entire show that revolves around political satire and "mocking" the democracy. Guests will be treated to a weekend of examining the political climate today with a funny and satirical twist.

Chris Phillips will bring back the heyday of classic Las Vegas with hits from the Rat Pack, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, Tom Jones and Elvis Presley. Accompanied by a 10-piece big band, Phillips will treat audiences to an evening of spectacular music and entertainment.

Gregg Austin’s M Town – Tuesday Nights Throughout December

The sound of Motown invades South Point’s Showroom every Tuesday starting Dec. 13 from 8 to 11 p.m. Guests will experience an evening hosted by Gregg Austin while enjoying the everlasting sounds that dramatically altered the world of music. Tickets are available for $5, and include a complimentary drink and $5 Players Card credit. Reserved seating is available for $10 and can be purchased online or at the Box Office.

Déjà Vu – Wednesday Nights Throughout November and December – Just Updated

South Point’s Showroom hosts Déjà Vu every Wednesday throughout November and December from 6 to 9 p.m., with the exception of Wednesday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7. Guests will experience an evening of pure excitement as they dance through the decades. All guests must be 21 or older with a valid form of ID and present a South Point Slot Club Card. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $5.

Dennis Bono Show –Thursday Afternoons Throughout November and December

South Point’s Dennis Bono Show offers guests a wide variety of amusement in the South Point Showroom every Thursday at 2 p.m. Featuring appearances with established celebrities from the world of entertainment, Bono’s interaction with his guests creates a one-of-a-kind performance. Doors open at 1 p.m. This show is free and open to the public.

“Dirty at 12:30” with Gabe Lopez –Friday Nights Throughout November and December

Gabe Lopez and the South Point present “The Dirty at 12:30” inside the South Point Grandview Lounge every Friday night throughout November and December at 10:45 p.m. This show is not for guests that are easily offended and cannot handle dirty raw comedy. Special guests who have appeared on the “Dirty” stage include Ralphie May, Joey Diaz, Joe Rogan, Carlos Mencia and many more. Always dirty, always free. This event is free and open to the public. All guests must be 21 or older with a valid form of ID.

Wes Winters – Friday and Saturday Nights Throughout November and December – Just Updated

Wes Winters’ unique “One-Man-Lounge-Show” visits the South Point Hotel every Friday and Saturday in November and December at 5 p.m, with the exception of the first two weekends in December during NFR week. Guests can experience his innate vocal and piano ability at the Grandview Lounge. This event is free and open to the public.

SPAZMATICS –Saturday Nights Throughout November and December – Just Updated

The SPAZMATICS will party away to the best of the 1980s in the South Point Showroom every Saturday night throughout November and only on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 10:30 p.m. and New Year's Eve at 10:15 p.m. Tickets for the show on New Year's Eve are available for $75 and can be purchased here. Tickets for November's shows are available for $5 or guests can purchase a “SPAZMATICS Party Package” for $10 including one ticket, one drink and reserved seating. Doors open at 10 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door or guests can purchase VIP seats online or by calling the Box Office (702) 797-8055. All guests must be 21 or older with a valid form of ID.
