Las Vegas – Today, Insomniac announced the world famous Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on May 17, 18 and 19, 2019 for three incredible nights of music, art, and individuality Under the Electric Sky. Transforming more than 1,000 acres into a fully immersive, neon-lit playground, the highly-anticipated 2019 event will deliver an unrivaled celebration from dusk till dawn, complete with over 200 of dance music’s most notable names, groundbreaking art installations, all-new stage designs, a new Downtown EDC experience, and the return of Camp EDC. Tickets for North America’s largest dance music festival, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas, will go on sale Friday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. PST, featuring the addition of a new GA+ ticket tier which includes expedited festival entrance and access to exclusive air-conditioned restrooms.
“EDC is a festival we prepare for all year round, and even though we got great feedback about the move to May, our new shuttle partner, and our first ever camping experience, we aspire to improve each and every year,” said Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella. “Next year we’ll be bringing lots of exciting improvements to Camp EDC, redesigning some of our most popular stages, creating an all-new Downtown EDC, and adding a new ticket tier that we hope will give attendees a new way to experience the festival.”
Following the launch of a surprise weeklong loyalty pre-sale from Pasquale Rotella, which allowed fans the opportunity to reserve a festival pass at the guaranteed lowest price, Early Owl pricing, which will be available until midnight on Sept. 28, will begin at $319 for General Admission, $499 for GA+, and $779 for VIP. Fans who miss out on Early Owl pricing will have the opportunity to purchase the Wise Owl tier beginning Saturday, Sept. 29. Wise Owl pricing begins at $339 for GA and $519 for GA+, while affordable layaway options for all ticket types will also be offered.
After a sold-out inaugural year, Camp EDC will return, providing Headliners a fully immersive camping program conveniently situated right next to the Speedway. Similar to 2018, the camping areas will help alleviate vehicle traffic for campers, offering an easy commute and convenient ins and outs of the festival each day. At the heart of Camp EDC lies the Mesa, a bustling hub of entertainment, activities and amenities that campers can enjoy and take part in all weekend long. From daytime pool parties to a curated guest speaker series to group classes that exercise the mind, body, and spirit, campers can experience a completely new side of EDC.
EDC Las Vegas 2018 brought a sold-out crowd of more than 400,000 Headliners from around the world to celebrate love, life, art and individuality. The festivals move to May brought cooler climates and allowed for the groundbreaking of the first Camp EDC and inaugural opening ceremonies each day.
