Lidia's Kansas City launches a late night Taverna menu available Monday-Saturday, 9-11 p.m.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 12, 2017) – Lidia’s Kansas City is launching a new Taverna menu with late-night bites for those seeking authentic Italian in the Crossroads after work or after a show. Exclusively available in the Taverna from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday, Lidia’s late-night menu features restaurant favorites and new, comforting creations.

“Night life in the Crossroads has grown tremendously since we opened in 1998,” said Dan Swinney, Lidia’s executive chef. “We’re eager to offer this late-night menu as an amenity for locals and convenient option for downtown visitors or people looking for great food after-hours,” Swinney said.

Created by Executive Chef Dan Swinney, the Taverna late-night menu includes a selection of Stuzzichini (appetizers and snacks), as well as new offerings like the Mozzarella in Carrozza – a Fried Mozzarella Sandwich with Prosciutto and Basil. The late-night menu is available exclusively in the Taverna from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday, in addition to Lidia’s specialty cocktails, wine list and beer selection.
