May Wine Wednesday tasting at Lidia’s Kansas City features Super Tuscan wines with paired appetizers

Sample Tuscan wines and bites for $25 per person

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 8, 2018) – The monthly wine tasting and educational event at Lidia’s Kansas City returns on Wednesday, May 16, at 6 p.m. May’s tasting will feature Super Tuscan wines with appetizers prepared by Executive Chef Dan Swinney. “Super Tuscan” is a term used to describe red wines from Tuscany that may include the use of non-indigenous grapes, particularly Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

Monte Antico – Sangiovese, Cabernet


Monteti Caburnio – Cabernet, Alicante and Merlot

Isole E Olena Cepperello – Sangiovese
