October Wine Wednesday tasting at Lidia’s Kansas City will feature Bastianich wines in honor of 20th Anniversary

Oct. 17 tasting is $40 per person and includes six wine samples with paired appetizers, 6-8 p.m.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 4, 2018) – The month of October marks a significant milestone for Lidia’s Kansas City, as it celebrates 20 successful years in the Crossroads Art District. To honor its anniversary month, Lidia’s will dedicate the October Wine Wednesday tasting to owner Lidia Bastianich by showcasing a selection of her award-winning Bastianich wines. Wine Wednesday is Oct. 17, 6-8 p.m., and includes six wine samples with paired appetizers.


Together with her son Joseph, Lidia Bastianich produces award-winning wines at Bastianich Vineyard in Friuli Venezia Giulia and La Mozza Vineyard in Maremma, Italy. Founded in 1997, Bastianich Vineyard consists of 100 acres in Italy’s Friuli region, which ranks among the best for producers of white wines. The La Mozza Vineyard consists of 90 acres in Tuscany’s Maremma region, which is known for the Italian grape variety Sangiovese used to produce full-bodied reds.


Lidia’s October Wine Wednesday tasting starts at 6 p.m. in the restaurant’s north patio (weather permitting). The cost is $40 per person plus tax and gratuity.
