Reimagined Hi-Tech Manufacturer Integrates Well-Being Through Design
Green surfaces don the walls of this cutting-edge facility, imagined to bring humanity to the practice of creating safer public transit.
The innovative design team of Lori Kupfer Architect and VMPAC reimagined the Boyce Technologies manufacturing facility to create a livable manufacturing space for employees to inhabit. The iconic architectural element of the hub, covered in plants, creates a space for eating, and on top of it, exercising. With views through to the engineering and manufacturing areas of this one-of-a-kind facility, the connection to purpose is always present, while creating a vibrant and communal space for cultivating company pride and spirit.
