New DeKalb Entertainment Commission Will Drive the Economic Engine of the County’s Entertainment Industry in Film/TV, Music and Digital Gaming
WHAT: Decide DeKalb, the Development Authority for DeKalb County, officially launches its new DeKalb Entertainment Commission with an event expected to include hundreds of Georgia entertainment industry leaders and influencers.
The Commission is charged with stimulating economic growth across the country in film, television, music and digital entertainment. At the event, leaders from across Georgia’s entertainment industries will come together to learn about DeKalb’s new initiative.

- Film/TV: $9.5 billion
- Music: $3.7 billion, 20,000 professionals, 100+ recording studios
- Digital Gaming: $1.9 billion

PARKING DETAILS: FREE PARKING at DeKalb County Courthouse Parking Deck, 556 N. McDonough St., Decatur, GA 30030. The parking deck is located on West Trinity Place (directly across the street from the former Callaway Building AND attached to the rear of the Courthouse).
If you park in any other parking garage, you may be charged a parking fee. Handicap parking is available on all levels of the parking deck, near the elevators, with the exception of the 2nd level. There is one elevator in the parking deck, located in the stairwell adjacent to the handicapped parking spaces. The handicap entrance is located on the basement level of the courthouse (use the employee entrance).
