PINCH Safe Outlet Goes Live on Indiegogo

Innovative outlet cover is set to change the way we child-proof our homes.

Toronto, Ontario – September 13, 2016

PINCH Safe Outlet (PINCH), a game-changer in child safety products, launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo today. PINCH’s goal is to raise $18,000 to cover manufacturing costs in order to get this product into the homes of as many families as possible.

As PINCH Founder Sameem Monzaviyan says, “This project is very close to my heart as it came to life because of my son.” Early product testing has proven that safer outlet covers are needed by parents of young children who are easily getting around the current market alternatives.

Approximately 2,400 children suffer severe shock and burns each year by touching electrical outlets. PINCH makes it virtually impossible for a small child to access a socket, due to its patent pending pinch-activated tabs that automatically snap shut when a plug is removed. Children under five lack the dexterity and strength to operate these tabs and insert a plug, finger or foreign object, making PINCH the safest outlet cover compared to its competitors.
