Fall Educational Programs at the NIC

*(Casper, Wyo.)* - The Nicolaysen Art Museum believes that art is what makes us human; it stimulates our hearts and minds. With these beliefs in mind, the NIC provides everyone in the community with the opportunity to participate in and experience the arts on a personal basis by offering a variety of educational and fun courses for both children and adults. *Preschool Picassos - *Wednesdays: 10:30-11:30 am, November 11-December 16 Fee: $30 for members and $40 for non-members per child/adult duo for each six class session or drop-in $8.00 per class. *This class is for children ages 2-5 years old and their parent/adult. In this class your child will explore art concepts in these age-appropriate, curriculum-related, and themed-structured 6-week art classes. These classes engage young students in problem-solving and enhance fine motor coordination through exploration of different art materials. NIC offers families a 40% discount for the second and third child for Preschool Picassos classes.* *Little Hands - *Tuesdays: 10-11:30 am, September-May Fee: Free *This class is for children ages 2-5 years old and their parent/adult. The Little Hands program emphasizes learning through art and investigation. It is designed to provide a supportive environment for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s and their loved ones.
