Casper man sentenced to seven to nine years for 2nd degree sexual abuse of a minor

(Casper, Wyo.) – A 25-year-old Mills man plead guilty to second-degree sexual abuse of a minor that occurred in Dec. 2013, according to the charging documents filed in court. This morning Kyle Stuckey was sentenced to serve seven to nine years in the Wyoming State Penitentiary. It was reported in court records that Stuckey touched a 10-year-old girl when he was living with a friend in the Mills area between Dec. 2013 and April 2014. Honorable Judge Sullivan commented at the sentencing, "The impact to the young victim to my perception is very, very significant." Due to previous convictions of possession of child pornography and failure to register as a sex offender, the Judge felt that a probationary term would be unsuccessful. Stuckey commented before his sentence was issued, "I feel bad about what happened, and given the opportunity or the chance, I would prove that I have changed."
