(Casper, Wyo.) – The Natrona County Travel & Tourism Council has announced that Christine Hill has been offered and has accepted the Chief Executive Officer position for the Casper Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. Ms. Hill will start her new duties in November. Ms. Hill brings an extensive background in travel and tourism to the position, including nine years as the Director of Revenue, Sales & Marketing with Timberline Hospitalities, and positions with Quorum Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn on the River, and Southern Hospitality. She has also served or serves on the Board of Choice Hotels Colorado Co-op, Tour Colorado, Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association, Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition, Natrona County Lodging Tax Board, Wyoming Women of Influence, Casper Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Wyoming Medical Center Foundation. “Not only does Christine have a strong skill-set in travel and tourism, her knowledge of the community and State, along with having served on the Board of the Natrona County Travel & Tourism Council, means she will hit the ground running,” said Reeda George, Natrona County Travel & Tourism Council Chair. “We are all very excited with Christine at the helm as we launch into a new, exciting campaign.” Approximately 45 individuals applied for the position vacated when Aaron McCreight, former CEO, took a new position in May. Candidates were narrowed down for phone interview before the finalists were interviewed in Casper. “The Board is indebted to John Giantonio, our Director of Sports and Events, for stepping up and serving as the interim CEO during this transition,” said George. #oilcity #caeda #sponsored
