High Wind Warning in effect; Gusts around 70 mph

(Casper, Wyo.) - A high wind warning is in effect now through 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning due to high winds being reported around much of Natrona County. The National Weather Service Forecast Office at Riverton Regional Airport said the high winds will create dangerous cross winds with blowing and drifting of snow. Winds will decrease early Tuesday morning. *Winds:* Southwest 30-40 mph with gusts of 55 to 65 mph. Isolated locations could gust to around 70 mph such as in Southern Casper. *Impacts:* Winds will mostly impact transportation. High winds may make travel dangerous with the potential for a blow over, especially for lightweight or high profile vehicles.
