Obituaries: Bruce A. Moens

Bruce A. Moens, beloved son of Darline & Peter “Bud” Moens, passed away December 16, 2015. Bruce was born on November 13, 1956 in Casper, WY. He attended Willard Elementary, Poison Spider, and NCHS, graduating in 1975. He was an athlete, and was named to Allstate Football. He loved his high school years, and cherished the lifelong friendships he made. Bruce graduated from electronics school in Denver and took over the family business, Bud’s TV. He loved cooking, and spent later years working in nursing homes. He was always a favorite with the residents. He spent spring and summer’s working most nights as an umpire, where he was well -respected. He prided himself on being fair and honest, as well as a job well done. Bruce spent many hours workings at his parents’ home, & would be the first to help whenever he could. He never entered a room without a smile, and was the first to ask a lady to dance. Brucie made friends wherever he went. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his parents, brother Gordon, sisters Brenda Campbell and Linda Glover (Tony), a daughter and son, two grandchildren & 6 nieces & nephews. A celebration of life will be held on January 2, 2016 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the Casper Shrine Club, 1501 West 39th Street, Casper, Wyoming. Memorial contributions in Bruce's name may be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children's fund. #oilcity #obits
