Stephanie Diane Johnson (Harshman)

Never in a million years could I have imagined having to write my own sister's obituary. Her death came unexpectedly and unnecessarily. Through the foggy haze of it all I managed to write. Stephanie Diane Johnson (Harshman), 32, of Casper, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 in her home. She was born on Oct. 26, 1983 in Alamosa, CO and grew up in Casper, WY. Stephanie graduated from Natrona County High School in 2002. She married Austin Johnson on April 3, 2015. Stephanie was a stay-at-home mother to her 3 beautiful children. The love she had for her family was immense. Her beautiful smile was infectious and her laugh will never be forgotten. Her loving heart drew so many into her world, her amazing energy was contagious, always living life to the fullest. She will be remembered by all who crossed her path-even for a moment. Her kindness and huge heart was always willing to help others. She gave all of herself with little left for her. She never wanted to see anybody hurt or upset, she always tried to make it okay. Stephanie's life was full of up's and down's, however she always seemed to push through it. She grew tired, the battle inside was more than she could bear. Going to be with our savior was the option she chose- no more hurt. Stephanie's wish would be that each and everyone would know how much she loved them. Stephanie loved family get togethers, the outdoors, the sun, camping, four wheeling, the lake, tumbling, dance, and volleyball. Any and all activities that included her kids were her passion. Stephanie is survived by her husband, Austin Johnson, her 3 beautiful children, Chloe, Kenzie and Jace, her mother, Unita Scheid and step-father Michael, a sister, Angela Nowak (Jason), 2 brothers, Arlin Lepp (Tammy), Michael Harshman, her grandparents, Jerry and Jevita Embry, nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her dad, Matt Harshman. Services are pending at the time for Stephanie. #oilcity #obits
