#WhatsHappening 2016 Casper Walk to End Alzhiemer's

The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting Natrona County residents to unite in a movement to reclaim the future for millions by participating in and helping to organize the 2016 Casper Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. The Wyoming Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is asking residents to help them plan a successful Casper Walk! Help is needed to identify a great location for the Walk, to suggest team captains and corporate sponsors and to give ideas for developing an exciting and inspirational event. A Kickoff Meeting for the 2016 Casper Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held in Casper and all area residents are encouraged to attend! The meeting will be held on Saturday, January 9, from 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. in the Crawford Room of the Natrona County Public Library. The library is located at 307 E. 2nd Street in Casper. Alzheimer’s disease is a growing epidemic and the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death. As baby boomers age, the number of individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease will rapidly escalate, increasing well beyond today’s more than 5 million Americans to as many as 16 million by 2050.
