Senior Trojan, Tracy Payne qualified for Nationals with her three power lifts. Payne benched 135 pounds, squatted 255 pounds and dead lifted 310 pounds to qualify for Nationals. Sophomore Trojan, Taylor Moese also qualified for Nationals during a tournament in in Denver in November. He recorded a bench press of 200 pounds, squatted 360 pounds and dead lifted 330 pounds to qualify. Trojan Powerlifting Coach, Bart Stricklin told us that he was proud of his two athletes and commented, "High School Nationals Powerlifting is the hardest competition to qualify for. It is quite an honor just to qualify for the event." Nationals will take place on early April in Orlando, FL. Nice job Trojans! Photos: Bart Stricklin/Pitchengine Communities #oilcity #kwhs #news
