At twenty-three this young Wyoming Adventurer has his sights set on Gold as the travels to Aspen, Col for the 15th Annual Winter X Games. Wyoming's very own Brian Doolan will be competing in the Unified Snowboarding Races this January. With six years of snowboarding expertise Brian will cut and carve to represent the Equality State. As one of only 10 Special Olympics athletes, Special Olympics Wyoming’s own Brian Doolan was chosen to participate in Special Olympics Unified Snowboarding Races as part of this year’s X Games in Aspen, Colorado on Thursday, January 28th. Brian was born in Alaska, currently lives in Wyoming, and has lived in many places since he comes from a military family. He enjoys many activities, but Special Olympics is the organization that provides him opportunities for sports and hanging out with his friends. He was born prematurely and as a result has a cognitive disability. That hasn’t stopped him from being physically active, enjoying life, and making many friends. In 2014, Brian attended National Games for soccer in New Jersey. He also attends every Area and State Game competition for Snowboarding, Soccer, Basketball, and Track & Field. He has done this since moving to Wyoming in 2007. Boardercross is his favorite snowboard sport. Good luck Mr. Doolan! #oilcity #buckrail #reboot #county17 #county10 #dally #springcity #shortgo #news
