Casper man arrested and charged with felony shoplifting after ringing up over a $1,000 in stolen property

A Casper man has been arrested and charged felony shoplifting and larceny. Thirty-three year old Ryan Bressler was arrested on Saturday in Mills. Bressler is charged with felony shoplifting after allegedly returning fraudulent return items for cash and/or gift cards. It was reported in court records that he visited Home Depot, Wal Mart, Best Buy, Dicks, Ross, Sam's Club and various other stores. Some of the reports date back to July. It was reported that he rang up $1,556.00 Sam's club and $9.25 from Wal Mart. It was also reported that in November 2015 Bressler went to stores in Gillette and Rapid City where he allegedly stole items. Bressler is also charged with larceny as reports show that in early January he stole a 1997 Dodge Plymouth Minivan listed as $752.00. It was shown in court records that Bressler had collected twenty different items including Christmas decorations and packaging, a pink beanie hat with horse and wings on it, picture frames, 'OPEN' Led sign, snow blow blaster, Big Lots chair, and more. He had his initial appearance this afternoon where he did not enter a plea as it is a felony charge. #oilcity #news #county17
