Dispatch: Search and rescue responds to Gas Hills stranded motorist; Male located with 'sea style walk'

Here is a recap of law enforcement activity from around Natrona County from over the past twenty-four hours. Those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges filed are subject to change following official filing from Natrona County District Attorney’s Office. *Arrests:* *Casper Police Department* Daniel M Closs, Casper, public intoxication. On February 1st at approximately 7:55 pm Casper Police Officers were in routine patrol in the area of A Street and Durbin. Officers noticed a male subject, later identified as Daniel Closs stumble across Durbin Street. Closs was reported, in court records with a "sea style walk" as he walked along the street grasping the walls along the sidewalk to brace himself. Officers stopped Closs and inquired as to where he was headed. It was reported that Closs grumbled under his breath and stared blankly at the ground. Officers could smell a distinct odor of alcoholic beverage coming from Closs's person. When asked to perform a portable breath test Closs responded in court records, "No damn it." It was reported that Closs's eyes were blood shot and glassy. Officers took custody of Closs where he was booked in for public intoxication. At the detention center, Closs again declined to take a portable breath test and he told officers that, "the judge told him to stop taking the tests and answering questions." Daniel L Johnsen, Bar Nunn, violate FVPA court order. Arnold G Link, Big Horn, failure to appear, two possession of controlled substance. Mark S Wright, Arizona, DWUI. *Total Arrests Reported:* 4 *Calls:* Casper Police Officers responded to *100* calls including three drugs, two family fights, two frauds, property damage at N Nebraska Ave, two thefts, and one hit and run. *Arrests:* *Natrona County Sheriff's Office* Ronald J Smith, serve jail time. Cade C Fredricks, failure to comply. Samuel C Rosty, serve jail time. Tyler J Smith, hold for probation and parole, bond revocation. Justin R Kidd Richlin, serve jail time. Matthew R Larimore, failure to comply. Joseph V Montoya, serve jail time. *Total Inmates Reported: *253 *Calls:* Natrona County Sheriff's Office responded to *31* calls including five traffic stops, and one Search and Rescue Assist. NCSO and NC Search and Rescue responded to Gas Hills Road at approximately 9:25 pm Monday night for a stranded driver. It was reported that the driver was located about half a mile in Fremont County. The thirty-five year old male was found safe and he was transported out via snowmobile. NCSO would like to advise drivers to have extra food, water, warm clothes and blanks, and extra gas when out driving in the state. They also advised drivers to heed the road closed warnings and not to take shortcuts to avoid closed roads. #oilcity #news
