Male taken into custody for allegedly making threatening comments while carrying a shotgun

(Casper, Wyo.) - Casper Police Officers reported that the male who was involved in the incident on Wednesday afternoon that 'locked out' local schools was apprehended for questioning and for allegedly making comments about shooting someone. The male was not arrested and charged for the incident, he was taken into custody as a precautionary measure and for questioning. At this time the male is not being charged with anything, according to the Casper Police Department. Read initial reports below: The Casper Police Department reported this afternoon (Wednesday, Feb. 10th) that officers were dispatched to the area of 2nd and McKinley shortly after 1:00 pm for a male who was spotted carrying a shotgun in the area. Officers arrived on scene and could not locate the male. It was later reported that a male matching the same description was located at or near the Taco Johns along CY Avenue. The male is now in police custody as the investigation continues. #oilcity #news
