200 Wyoming DECA students converged in Casper for the State Conference

(Casper, Wyo.) - Two hundred students from around Wyoming traveled to Casper for the DECA State Conference earlier this week. ​Nine schools brought their students to compete at the Parkway Plaza in fifty different business/marketing competitions. Kelly Walsh High School business instructor, Jill Thompson, reported that volunteers from the community and business professionals stepped in to judge the students performances and presentations. Students competed on Monday and Tuesday for chances to move to the International tournament in Nashville, TN in April. Kelly Walsh Team ​"The students are competing in individual and team events where they present their presentations and papers to professionals in the business field.
