Business and Agriculture: An inside look with feature speaker Damian Mason

(Casper, Wyo.) - Take a look at why affluent customers oppose genetically modified organisms, why suburbia shops at Whole Foods, why the “cheap food argument” is outdated with Casper College's Doornbos feature speaker, Damian Mason. The 2016 Doornbos Lecture Series will present popular business and agriculture on Wednesday, March 2 from 2-4 p.m. The free event will take place in the Sharon D. Nichols Auditorium. Mason will share what agriculture can learn from the National Rifle Association, and why agriculture’s future is bright. The presentation titled, “Agriculture: Trends, Topics and Tomorrow” is a thoughtful, entertaining discussion on current events, consumer ignorance, regulatory battles, and societal issues effecting the business of agriculture,” said Mason. Mason, who was raised on a dairy farm, has a degree from Purdue University in agricultural economics and currently owns and manages a farm in northeast Indiana.
