*(Casper, Wyo.) *- The Wind River Job Corps program is designed to help students between the ages of 16-21 learn a new trade/skill of their choice, earn a high school equivalency or high school diploma and find/keep a good job. Wind River Job Corps offers hands-on training in areas including: accounting, welding, electrical, office administration and much, much more. As a student at Wind River Job Corps, you can learn at your own pace. Depending on the career area you choose and the learning pace you set for yourself, training can take from eight months to two years to complete. ​Not only will Wind River Job Corps help you develop a career plan and provide the training to help you achieve your goals, but when your training is completed, they will help you get the job. Wind River Job Corps is currently accepting applications for residential and non-residential students. For interested students in the Casper area, Job Corps will be hosting information sessions every Tuesday at the Work Force Center, located at 851 Werner Ct. at 2:00PM.
