Help make Casper a safer, healthier place to live by properly disposing of medications

*(Casper, Wyo.) *- The Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming, along withe the Wyoming Department of Health, asks you to join them in the safe disposal of your unused prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, creams, patches, inhalers, vitamins and even medications for your pets. It is unsafe to dispose of your medications by flushing them down the toilet. Medications in the water supply impacts not only people, but also livestock and wildlife. Additionally, prescription drug abuse, including over-the-counter medications, is a growing problem in this community. By properly disposing of your unused or expired medications, you can help prevent it. *Residents are encouraged to drop off expired or unused medications on March 15th from 10am-2pm at The Senior Center, located at 1831 East 4th Street.* If you have questions about proper disposal methods, call Prevention Management Organization at 307-472-5991 or send us a message on the Facebook page, PMO Natrona County. #sponsored #news #oilcity #natronapmo
