(Casper, Wyo.) - Today the Oil City has been blessed with Casper School of Irish Dance performances around town. The group of thirty dancers from nine to thirteen performed various Irish traditional dances. Annie Donvan, School of Irish Dance instructor told us that the students at Casper Classical Academy were all very excited and receptive of the celebration. "It's great to get our team of dancers out and about and spread the St. Paddy's Day cheer with others." The group first visited Casper Classical Academy, then performed for the senior citizens and Garden Square Assisted Living and are to perform at Paradise Valley Elementary, Crest Hill Elementary and complete their tour this evening at the St. Patrick's Church. With six years of Irish Dancing under her belt, dancer, Hailey Hardy commented, "It's so much fun and I love being challenged. We work really hard throughout the year and it's great to get to show off to our friends and the community." Eleven year old, Rhea Hughes told us that this is her third year with the club, "I love the technique and style of the dance and celebrating St. Patrick's Day."
