Casper man enters pleas to numerous counts during an incident at a Bentonite Mine in January

(Natrona County, Wyo.) - Following an incident that occurred in Natrona County at a Bentonite Mine in early January Casper man Mark Faulcon plead not guilty this morning to eight charges. Faulcon plead not guilty to felony property damage, conspiracy to commit property damage, five counts of felony burglary and one count of conspiracy to commit burglary. He is currently out on a $30,000 bond awaiting trial. According to court records, on January 4th, 2016 at approximately 7:22 am NC Sheriff Deputies responded to a Bentonite Mine, located near the intersection of Poison Spider Road and Gas Hills Road in Natrona County for a report of damaged property. Upon arrival, Deputies observed a CAT D-10 Bulldozer parked on top of a large metal shipping container. Reports continue to show, that the responding Deputies discovered an epic amount of destroyed property that included the shipping container, a motor home, several trailers, a semi-truck, a Ford F-250 pickup, a portable restroom, and numerous tools and work equipment. The source of the property damage appeared to have been caused by unknown person(s) operating the large equipment. Such as the D-10, belly scrapers, a road grader, an excavator and a semi-truck. One of the semi-trucks on scene had the cab potion completely removed using the excavator and then crushed completely, destroying the semi-truck. The initial estimated damage that was caused was believed to be between $500,000 and 1,000,000. The other male involved, identified as Adam M Melikian plead not guilty recently to one count of conspiracy to commit burglary, five counts of burglary, one count of felony property damage and one county of conspiracy to commit property damage. #oilcity #news
