When will the snow fly? You tell us Casper!

(Casper, Wyo.) - Word on Oil City streets, one word, SNOW! The National Weather Service in Riverton is predicting a significant amount of snow for the Casper area, when and how much remains up in the air (literally). So we are looking at possibly 8-16 inches! Crazy, our next question is when will it begin? That is on your backs Casper. We want to know when the first flake hits the ground. The first person to send us a picture of the first look at snow falling in town will be awarded a $25 gift card to Starbucks to help keep you warm during the snow. The picture must be sent to Oil City Facebook Messaging at the link, a picture of the first flakes and time the picture was taken, and we will judge whose picture came in first. So keep your eyes up Casper and let us know when the Spring Snow begins to fly! ..SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACROSS THE WESTERN MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS CONTINUING THIS MORNING AND LASTING THROUGH TONIGHT... ...SIGNIFICANT SNOW AND STRONG WIND EXPECTED OVER PORTIONS EAST OF THE DIVIDE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... ...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON MDT WEDNESDAY... * TIMING...RAIN SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON WILL QUICKLY TURN OVER TO SNOW THIS EVENING AND MAY BECOME QUITE HEAVY...LASTING INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF.
