From a Mustang to a Defender; NCHS senior gunning for starting job at Dordt College

(Casper, Wyo.) - Today Natrona County High School senior, Matt Benardis, signed his letter of intent to play football for the Defenders of Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. "I really liked the people and the environment. They have a new football coach and I am ready to step in and fight for the starting job," said Benardis. After considering the University of Wyoming and Montana State, he settled on Dordt College. His proud mother, Charlotte commented, "He was more excited about their mechanical engineering program than playing football. I am just excited and happy for him." Benardis continued to comment, "NCHS has helped to make me a great leader and sculpted my work ethic. I had some really great teammates too, I love you guys!"
