Trojan to make a splash with D-1 school

(Casper, Wyo.) - Kelly Walsh Trojan senior, Colin O'Neill sat proudly with his family as he signed his letter of intent to swim with the Fighting Hawks at the University of North Dakota next season. His mother, Sher, commented that he has loved the water from the start and he has shown that during his career at KWHS. KWHS Principal Brad Diller spoke highly of O'Neill commenting, "We are proud of you boy! Collin has been a great student and role model in and around our school house; we wish him the best." Collin mentioned that he considered swimming at the University of Wyoming but felt more at home at UND. "Coach Miller has taught me endless things, but mostly work ethic. You have to work for your success and hard work gets you where you want to be," said Colin. Colin aims to study Pre-Med at UND when he is not practicing his backstrokes and butterflies. Swimming and diving coach at KW, Bridger Miller said, "Colin deserves every bit of his success and he has been a great role model. It has been one of his goals and one of my goals to see him swim at the D-1 level. I am proud and excited for him." Congrats Colin and we wish you the best!
