3 NCHS students snapped Amazing photos for the Nature Conservancy of Wyoming photo contest

(Casper, Wyo.) - yo The Nature Conservancy of Wyoming announced today that winning entries in its 7th annual “I Believe in Conservation” high school photography contest will be on display at the Center for the Arts from April 22 – May 31. "It’s exciting to see how the students view nature through their own individual lenses. The contest is also a great way to get kids outdoors and interacting with the natural world,” said Sara Deur, Development & Operations Program Manager for The Nature Conservancy of Wyoming. “We hope that this experience will carry over into their own commitment to conservation.” Three Natrona County High School students placed including: - - Molly Olsen 3rd Place Wild Places - ​Weston Richner-3rd Place People and Nature - Jaycie Cox- Community Winner ​ Prizes were awarded in three categories including Wild Places, People and Nature, and Wildlife. Community awards were also given in recognition of outstanding contributions from each participating school. First place winners received $250 each, 2nd place winners received $100, and 3rd place and community award winners received $50 prizes.
