Mustangs take down Trojans in Make-A-Wish Wyoming Duel

(Casper, Wyo.) - Thursday evening Kelly Walsh and Natrona County high schools battled one another to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Wyoming. Last night in the Trojan Colosseum (the cafeteria) one male and one female student served as representatives of each class from both schools. Sixteen students competed in Minute to Win It, a Breakfast Scrambler and various trivia games. “Spring is the peak time for Kids for Wish Kids® events,” said Tess Kersenbrock, community relations coordinator at Make-A-Wish Wyoming. “Kelly Walsh and Natrona County high schools are two of our biggest school donors. They compete very hard to out-raise each other in fundraising and always sponsor numerous events to support our mission. We very much appreciate what they – and all the Kids for Wish Kids schools around the state - do to raise funds for our wish kids.” After a brutal battle, the Mustangs claimed victory, but the true winners were Make-A-Wish Wyoming! The students from KWHS and NCHS raised a whopping, $1,015.21! Well played students, we tip our hats to you! For additional information about the event, please contact student representatives Liane Dia, NCHS, at 806-674-6841 and Hannah Henry, KWHS, at 307-267-2571.
