Edible Bookfest? Yes, indeed.

The Friends of the Natrona County Public Library's book sale kicked off at 9:30 Saturday with a long line of excited readers. Cake bakers and decorators from around Casper also presented their creations at the Edible Bookfest in the main lobby of the library. Besides looking yummy, the cakes and other edible creations represented everything from children's books to novels. Popular titles such as "Mockingjay" from the "Hunger Games" series and "Harold and the Purple Crayon" were recreated in delicious cake and frosting. The sale also included tables of rare and unique books with special pricing. In addition, a silent auction of rare books (autographed, first edition, etc.) will be held in the Crawford Room of the library from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday. #wickman #oilcity #news
