Natrona County Representative Kroeker to seek re-election

(Casper, Wyo.) – Representative Kendell Kroeker (Republican, HD35) today announced his intention to seek reelection for the House District 35 seat. “I am honored that the people of my district have chosen me to represent them in Cheyenne the past 6 years and I hope that if they choose to send me back for another term that I will serve in a way that is worthy of their support. I will continue to fight to protect our liberty and for the principals of smaller government, transparency, and accountability.” Rep. Kroeker has consistently been one of the most conservative members of the Wyoming Legislature. “I was very happy that we were able to reform Wyoming’s civil asset forfeiture laws. An individual is now guaranteed a date in court and the burden of proof was shifted to the state before an individual can have his property forfeited. This is a big step in protecting individual rights and I was proud to be a leader in the fight to reform our civil asset forfeiture laws,” Rep. Kroeker said in regards to the past legislative session. He was first elected in 2010 and was reelected in 2012 and 2014. #oilcity #news
