(Albany County, Wyo.) - Earlier this week Casper man, Dalton Williams
sentence for involuntary manslaughter was reduced by the Albany County
District Court to three years of supervised probation following his
graduation of the boot camp program on May 25th.
Williams was sentenced in August 2015 to serve 3-5 years in prison for the
death of a Lander man during a party in Laramie.
Court documents stated that on the night of October 31, 2014, Williams and
some of his friends attended a house party at in Laramie where a fight
broke out in the street and Williams, “with a sudden heat of passion,” hit
the victim, Joe McGowan.
He was later charged with involuntary manslaughter for the death of McGowan.
Williams is to complete the three years of probation.
