Thanks to a $4,500 grant from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, the Natrona
County Fire District will be able to purchase a quick, inflatable Oceanid Water Rescue Craft that is able to function as a rapid-deployment boat to rescue victims in open water and on ice.

“We appreciate this generous donation from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation,” said Assistant Fire Chief Darin Pepple. “The procurement of the Oceanid Rescue Craft greatly enhances our first responder’s capabilities when responding to swift water and ice rescue emergencies.”

“We are pleased to support the Natrona County Fire District with this donation from our Foundation,” said Leslie Blythe, Rocky Mountain Power regional business manager. “As part of this community, Rocky Mountain Power is grateful for outstanding service provided by the Natrona County Fire District.” #oilcity
