North Platte continues to rise; Flowing at about 7,000 CFS

(Natrona County, Wyo.) - Flows are continuing to rise around Casper and the North Platte, according to Natrona County Emergency Management. The river is currently flowing at around 7,000 cubic feet per second (CFS). Flows are anticipated to stay at this level for most of June, yet they are subject to change depending on snow melt runoff. With increased flows, the public may observe some water on parts of the river park way paths. Areas that have had water in the past include below F Street by I-25, along the area of WESTEC in Mills and near the White Water Park.
