(Casper, Wyo.) - This morning Casper woman Tracie Montoya was sentenced to serve one to five years supervised probation for felony theft after stealing around $4,000 from the local Kohl's store. With her 301 plea Montoya was found guilty of the crime and ordered to pay $3,989 Restitution back to Kohl's. According to court records, officers responded to Kohl's shopping center for a report of a theft. Dispatch advised officers that one of Kohl's employees, Tracie Montoya, had stolen about $4,000 from Kohl's while working there. She stated that she knew she had taken some money, but did not realize it had added up to nearly $4,000.00. Montoya filled a confession form and was charged with larceny.
