(Natrona County, Wyo.) - Welcome to the middle of the Wyoming Summer, July is a day away and the 240th Independence Day celebration is coming in hot! We found five events and places to visit and take your family to have a blast this weekend: 1.Load up your friends and family for the City of Casper's Fireworks Festival 2016
at the Casper Events Center gates open at 5:00 pm and enjoy the live music
from EazySide and Shallow Side!
2. Load up the life jackets and fishing reels for some boating and floating
along with some fresh lake fishing at Alcova Lake. Stay for the weekend and
ring in the fourth with a bang watching the Casper Boat Club Firework Show
. The Chaney Williams and
Younger Brother Band will be playing the tunes Monday afternoon, fireworks
begin at dusk!
3. Escape the crowds and fireworks with some hiking atop Casper Mountain.
Numerous hiking and biking trails to explore and have a picnic in Beartrap
4. Wave your American Flag High and Proud this weekend!
5. Enjoy a cold beer on a hot day and be thankful for the Freedom that we
